A few notes about how we've gone about putting our candidate pages together:
- Candidates are always listed alphabetically by last name.
- For the higher-profile races, when possible, we try to provide more information on candidates who have not previously held public office than on ones who have. Typically you can do a Google search and find fountains of information on candidates like Blanche Lincoln or Mike Ross, but it may be more difficult to find information on previously unknown candidates, particularly in down-ballot races. So in some cases, we have given more attention to those candidates than to the more popularly known ones.
- We must also note, however, that some candidates (typically, though not always, from third parties) maintain very low campaign profiles and simply don't have much of an online presence. On such candidates, we have included whatever we could find.
- Our goal is to provide you with information on each candidate, not to draw conclusions for you. In the higher-profile races, where there is often tons of information to choose from in deciding what to include on the candidate page, we have tried to be fair in our choices.
- If you think we've left something important out of a candidate's page, editor [at] progressivearkansas [dot] com (send us an email) and we'll make any necessary changes.
